Believe in yourself - and no, it's not lame

Without a doubt I have talked about this topic, directly or indirectly, before. Most likely the idea has been on those pages a lot. But that's because it's important. It IS part of the business. It DOES influence whether you will be successful or not.

How do you create self-confidence? There's no one possibility but the possibilities are endless. And that's only great. Success all by itself gives you self-confidence. Success in what? It doesn't matter! Success in life! Success in small details! Success in one part of your life gives you confidence about achieving success in another part of your life.

And of course, you need to keep your life interesting at the same time - by setting the same boring and regular and easy goals every time - well, this doesn't help much. Take on the unachievable tasks or at least what might look that way at first and get them done! That's called a challenge and winning a challenge is the best boost of all.

You can't be successful in something you don't believe in - the belief is important. Imagine some circus clown throwing knives at a beautiful barely clothed blond girl. He needs to believe he can throw the knives without hitting her heart (well, yes, if he does, the video clip would be all over youtube in no time, but that's not the point here). He needs to be confident, because if he isn't, he's hesistant and that means he can't concentrate on the task in hand 100% and....in no time, the clip ends up in youtube.

The same idea applies to everything you do - girls, boys, business, life - you need to believe in what you are doing in order to succeed.

One thing I have definitely talked about before - if you don't believe in yourself, if you don't believe you can do something, most likely you won't even try, and this means you can not succeed. And the main reason for that was that you just didn't believe in yourself enough. Noooo, I'm not saying EVERYTHING is possible. In many ways, everything is possible, but if you're 30-year-old couch potato and want to become a world champion in swimming, it's not a very reasonable goal, is it? But even then, you can become quite good swimmer. And that's an achievement already.

What you think is true! If you think you can't, you can't. If you think you can, there's a great chance you can. Of course, thinking without action is a zero-game, keep that in mind. Belief all by itself is nothing. You need to believe and then work to make it happen.
