Firstly, I think both you and I are tired of people saying you need think right, you need to be positive, you need to believe in things, blah blah blah. Always the same old story. Why can’t anyone tell you something worthwhile? Something you could actually use? Well, until a short time ago I felt the same. Not anymore. Because I wanted to figure out why are many successful people saying that. Often, they say that you need to believe and so on, but they don’t say why. But the why part here is the most important one for us to start thinking differently.

The easiest way to put it – If you think you suck, then other people seeing you can basically often see it from your face. And why should they think differently then, if even you feel you suck. Okay, not the best example. But now imagine two guys; one of them wants to buy a plane in a year. The other one is a government worker who never would even imagine having a plane. The first one believes he can achieve it. The second one is sure he can’t and he won’t even make this plan. Now, I’m not going to tell you that if you think of something real hard, it will happen. That’s a fairytale. But not 100% wrong. The thing here is that the second guy here will definitely never ever get the plane. Why? Because he doesn’t believe he can get it AND (here it comes) he will never even try to get it because of that. But the first guy who believes he can get a plane in a year, he might not make it but then again, he might. Why? Because he believes he can and that’s why he actually tries to achieve it. So – that’s the difference between believing and not believing. If you believe, then you act on it. If you don’t, you don’t act on it. Simple.
