Yes, I know, it sounds stupid, nobody throws his or her money away. At least not on purpose...or...ermm, actually they do, but nobody throws their money away if they win in a lottery (then they just waste it), nobody throws a hundred-dollar bill away if they find it on the street (they buy some beer). But there’s actually very many people who throw away good and simple opportunities to make some money.
In the internet business there’s a saying that take from whereever you can take and take as much as you can. And that’s usually what you should do. If someone offers you a job which might take a couple of hours of your life, then why not take it. Even if you don’t like it much. If it pays well, just do the damn job, even if you don’t need the cash right now, it will eventually help you. So take the job and do it well.
You get paid, yes. Maybe not a lot, but even little is always good. But what’s the important thing here is the fact that if you do the job well, you might get new assignments from the same source in the future and then they might already be to your liking and pay more. In most general words, by doing this little job, you secured yourself a contact and a possibility to get new assignments in the future. It’s as simple as that.
